Laboratory

The calibration laboratory of SINN MESSTECHNIK has been accredited for the measurement category "flow of gases" according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 by the DAkkS*.
The requirements for accreditation bodies which accredit conformity assessment bodies such as laboratories, inspection bodies and certification bodies are defined in the standard DIN EN ISO/IEC 17011. This standard defines accreditation as

"confirmation by a third party which sets out formally that a conformity assessment body is competent to perform specific conformity assessment tasks."
 
* The DAkkS is a cosignatory of the "ILAC Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA)". This multilateral agreement governs mutual recognition of testing and calibration performances of accredited laboratories in all ILAC member states. This recognizes nationally and internationally that each laboratory accredited by the DAkkS can perform specific tests or types of tests or calibrations competently. For theses accredited fields, the laboratory is entitled to use the official Combined MRA Symbol of ILAC.
